Accessibility Statement

Effective: August 7, 2026

NCTRCA is committed to providing people with disabilities meaningful access to its website, online services, programs, information, and communications.

1. Accessibility Goal

NCTRCA is working to design, develop, procure, and maintain web content and online functionality consistent with applicable accessibility requirements and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.1 Level AA. This statement describes NCTRCA’s goal and ongoing efforts; it should not be represented as a certification that every page or third-party component fully conforms unless an accessibility evaluation supports that statement.

2. Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing process. NCTRCA’s efforts may include: periodic automated and manual accessibility testing; keyboard and assistive-technology review of important user flows; remediation of identified barriers based on impact and priority; accessibility requirements in appropriate technology and vendor procurements; training for employees and contractors who create or maintain digital content; use of accessible document formats and alternative formats when reasonably available; and procedures for receiving, tracking, and addressing accessibility feedback.

3. Requesting Assistance or an Alternative Format

A person who has difficulty using the Site or needs information in an alternative format may contact NCTRCA at INFO@NCTRCA.org. Please identify the webpage or document, describe the barrier, state the preferred format or accommodation, and provide contact information. NCTRCA will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge the request, provide effective communication, and address the issue consistent with applicable law and available resources.

4. Accessibility Feedback

NCTRCA welcomes accessibility feedback. Helpful details include the exact URL, date and time, browser, operating system, assistive technology, and a description of what occurred. Do not include sensitive personal information in a general accessibility message unless necessary to fulfill the request.

5. Third-Party Content

Some functions or content may be provided by third parties, including payment, mapping, video, event, document, or social-media services. NCTRCA seeks to consider accessibility when selecting and managing third-party technology but does not control every third-party platform. NCTRCA will make reasonable efforts to provide assistance or an alternative method for accessing an NCTRCA program or service when required and practicable.

6. Governmental Protections

Nothing in this Statement waives sovereign, governmental, official, qualified, or other immunity; creates a private right of action; or expands NCTRCA’s liability beyond applicable law. NCTRCA remains committed to meeting its legal accessibility obligations and providing effective access to its programs and services.

7. Nondiscrimination

NCTRCA does not exclude from participation, deny benefits to, or otherwise discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in its programs or activities.
